This test checks if the pathway cites external resources. Each pathway should have at least one reference.
Currently, the GPML supports PubMed identifiers, DOIs, and ISBN numbers.
The pathway does not cite a reference with a PubMed identifier, DOI, or ISBN.
Because the current platform does not recognize URLs, it can occur that this curation suggestion shows up, despite there being a reference, being the URL (e.g. an online reference book from the NIH).
An additional PubMed identifier or DOI can be added to the pathway.
